Contemporary jewellery inspired by botanical shapes, patterns and forms.
Designed and hand crafted by Ann mainly in Sterling silver.
Ann is a designer, jeweller, working mainly in silver to create delicate pieces of jewellery. Her background is in fine art, drawing and painting and she is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art. She uses hand forging techniques, folding and hammering creating organic looking forms. Recently she has begun an exploration of vitreous enamels in her work, and how they can be used to depict the ever-changing colour and movement in the sea with weather changes.
Ann lives on the Isle of Arran and her inspiration comes from the natural things around her whether it is ferns which grow in the wood behind her home and spill into her garden or rock formations on the shore.
