Karen designs, draws and hand cuts pictures from paper and card using one of her own watercolour back-grounds, in a wide variety of subject matter. She also makes multi layered cut pictures of wildlife and iconic Arran views.
I studied Art and Design degree at Durham University and have used my art in differing degrees over the years both at work and in my spare time. I fell upon the art of cutting paper to make pictures while looking for something to make for our Anniversary. I now never go anywhere without my camera and a note book because everything around me influences my designs and of course how can anyone fail to be inspired, living on Arran!
