Inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of Arran but sometimes further afield, Lynn creates unique pieces of art using wet & dry felting techniques. She also works in watercolour and pastel.
Having trained as an Art Teacher many years ago, Lynn rediscovered her love of painting and all things creative while living in Argyll. Inspired by the scenery, she used pure watercolour to paint the historic landscape of the Kilmartin Glen.
She has been selling her work in Argyll for over a decade, but after many years of visiting, she has now moved to the Isle of Arran and has achieved her dream of having her own Art Studio in Whiting Bay looking out over the sea.
Inspired now by the stunning land and seascapes of Arran she loves to find ways to capture the atmosphere and constantly changing light in watercolour. More recently she has explored ‘felt painting’ and using both wet and needle felting techniques and a touch of embroidery, little tactile scenes of Arran are translated in wool.
