Multi medium realism paintings, mainly been focusing on landscapes inspired by living in Scotland and growing up holidaying on Arran. Other subjects painted are pet portraits and wedding venues.
Having concentrated on an Economics degree at university Megan moved away from her lifelong passion of painting and crafting.
It wasn’t until 2024 that she truly rediscovered her passion for art again. Inspired during her regular holidaying in Arran, Megan brought out her old watercolour tin and started painting the vibrant landscapes of Arran.
Megan paints an array of different artwork, using multiple mediums, watercolour, gouache, oil and acrylic. Her most popular commission requests have been wedding venues, dog portraits, and holiday pictures turned mementos.
She has now printed business cards, created a website and attended her first market event. Megan is delighted to be able to take part in the Arran Open Studios event, opening up part of her family holiday home in Lamlash to display and sell artwork over the course of the weekend.
