We are a picture-framing and illustrator/printmaker husband and wife team based in central Lamlash.
This year, we’ve expanded the business and converted our garage into a printing studio and a gallery to showcase our work for the Open Studios weekend and for individual appointments.
We’ll be hosting here rather than the main house as before, and look forward to seeing you.

As well as canvas framed paintings, cards, mugs, postcards and bags will be available. Over the next couple of days l shall post more designs which will be available at my studio space (the Lochranza Country Hotel, Lochranza 11am until 4pm) during the exhibition weekend.
Hello. My name is Gilly Fontaine- Grist. I have been enjoying drawing and painting for many years: like many others I am influenced by what I see and feel in relation to the space I live in be it the grey cobbles and curbs of the East Lancashire terraces (amongst which I brought up my two children) or the contrasting waterfalls, woods and hills not far away. More recently, the breathtaking beauty of the Isle of Arran, where I have been living for the past year, is inspiring new ideas.
Having recently done some small paintings on tiles for the Arran Animal Rescue Sanctuary, l have had some of the images reproduced on mugs, bags and cards, which will be available alongside the canvas paintings.

It has been a very successful weekend with over 300 visitors to Brodick hall. Thank you to all who visited the exhibition and to all the artists who took part and who manned the exhibition , not to mention the hard working committee. 😊
